Are you kidding me...

Obama has been photographed several times without his shirt as a presidential candidate but he’s about to step into the White House — so how much skin is too much? There is a fine line, experts said, and this time at least, Obama was on the right side of it.

“He is being authentically Barack Obama,” said Howard Bragman, a Los Angeles public relations expert and author of “Where’s My Fifteen Minutes.” “I don’t see it as disrespectful of the office. If he was wearing Speedos? Yeah. A thong? Maybe that wouldn’t be the best look.”

For a while now, I have felt that some of the stories being published were a little... ridiculous.

But this one takes the cake. It would be inappropriate for Obama to show too much skin? So... he should go swimming in what exactly? Or maybe people could stop following him around and taking pictures of his every move. Jesus Christ. The Huffington Post has some aspirations of being taken seriously, I think. It is time for them to stop featuring trash like the Obama's in swim suits on their website. And, Carrie Buddoff Brown & Nia-Malika Hemderson of Politico need to go back to writing about things that matter.

Rick Warren

Oh my. For a while, I just didn't care that much about who Obama had leading the prayers at his inauguration. Now that I have heard some of the things that this guy has said, I'm going to hop on the bandwagon.

It is one thing to be tolerant of other view points, but I have always said that I don't think it is ok to be tolerant of intolerance.

It isn't that he is against gay marriage, per se. There are plenty of people who feel that way (I disagree, strongly) who don't offend me. It is the things that he has said to defend his position... comparing homosexuality to incest and polygamy and so on.. it just isn't right or ok. It is bigotry. And I for the life of me can't understand why homophobia is acceptable in people's minds. It is on the same level as racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, etc. and should be universally held in contempt in the same exact way as those forms of discrimination.
