These people, ie the parents of these children, have deep rooted psychological issues. Really, they should probably seek help.

JOE THE PLUMBER

I am listening to Joe right now on Air America. He is a giant jack-ass.

"America is the greatest country of earth and I am sick of people insulting us."

Oh my, he goes on and on about how we need to stay in Iraq because we are going so much good there...

Something about poor people with cell phones.

His rant is about as coherent as John McCain's explanation of how we can balance the budget with our "job creation of energy independence."

And I am not making that up... job creation of energy independence... McCain just throws words together!

Much like Steve the Plumber and Sarah Palin... they were meant for each other.

Seriously... the nickname is just distasteful. And I will never understand why Joe would vote for the Republicans anyway! They are just using you for your vote and when they win the election, they won't do a damn thing for you.

Unhelpful for establishing the tone McCain sought in Davenport was the Rev. Arnold Conrad, past pastor of the Grace Evangelical Free Church. His prayer before McCain arrived at the convention center blocks from the Mississippi River appeared to dismiss faiths other than Christianity and cast the election as a referendum on God himself.

"I would also pray, Lord, that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their god — whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah — that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons," Conrad said.

"And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they're going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name with all that happens between now and Election Day," he said.

Yes, that's right. Anyone who thinks that they...personally...know what God wants. Or thinks that God talks to you and tells you what his will is...

I don't know, he might talk to some of you out there...

But if you are hearing things like, "burn the fags" or "bomb the towel heads".... that's probably not God you are hearing. It is probably a recording of Ann Coulter playing on a loop somewhere in your house.... and if that is the case, I guess you have every right to be disturbed. If I had to hear that woman's voice, repeatedly, I'd be freaking out as well.

Back to the point.... I think God would encourage us to treat each other fairly, not judge each other based on differences, AND GET THE FUCK ALONG AND STOP BLOWING EACH OTHER UP.
